Quick take:

  • The X2Y2 Pro NFT platform has joined the Oasys Gaming Ecosystem.
  • There are also plans to integrate with Oasys’ EVM sidechain for gaming, the Hub-Layer.
  • The integration gives the X2Y2 Pro users access to gaming assets from some of the leading publishers including Japan’s GMO Group and DM2C Studios, among others.

X2Y2 Pro, the NFT trading and lending marketplace launched in 2023 has joined Oasys Network’s gaming ecosystem. The two companies are collaborating to enable the Oasys Gaming Ecosystem users to expand their experiences, by allowing them to trade and lend their NFTs on the X2Y2 Pro platform.

According to the announcement, X2Y2 Pro will integrate with Oasys’ EVM-compatible gaming blockchains, particularly the Verses layers, which are the equivalent of layer-2 blockchains.

The Verses layers allow developers to launch customizable gaming projects whilst capitalising on Oasys’ secure and scalable blockchain infrastructure. X2Y2 Pro said it will soon integrate with Oasys’ Layer-1 Hub-Layer, the Japan-based blockchain company’s EVM sidechain.

The X2Y2 team expressed its excitement about joining the Oasys ecosystem as it looks to contribute to the growth of blockchain gaming. “This partnership aligns with our vision for the year ahead, where we aim to furnish NFT holders with greater opportunities to unlock value from their portfolios. Stay tuned for more updates to our continuously evolving product,” the company wrote in press material shared with NFTgators.

This collaboration expands the capabilities and experiences of both blockchain game developers and players. While players will be able to trade and lend their in-game NFTs through the X2Y2 Pro platform, developers can use the platform to create more engaging and dynamic economies.

The integration also allows X2Y2 Pro users to gain access to some of the most popular game titles on the Oasys Network, including titles from GMO Group through the Geso Verse, which lets users play blockchain games by linking their Gesoten by GMO ID with their GESO Verse account.

On the other hand, the DMM.com Group’s Web3-focused venture DM2C Studio will allow the X2Y2 Pro community to tap into a user base of 41 million members, whereas Home Verse, operated by jump.tokyo is working on nine game titles including “Battle of Three Kingdoms – Sangokushi Taisen”, from SEGA’s iconic IP.
