FOMO Lab and Banijay Collaborate to Launch Mr Bean NFT Collection on The Avenue

Web3 and intellectual property startup FOMO Lab have teamed up with leading digital creator Banijay to launch the genesis Mr Bean NFT Collection.

Leading intellectual property and Web3 startup FOMO Lab has collaborated with Banijay to launch the genesis Mr Bean NFT collection. The collection includes 3,333 unique Mr Bean NFT collectibles, which will be offered via the FOMO Lab NFT marketplace, The Avenue from May 25 using ETH.

Holders of the Mr Bean digital collectibles will also gain access to “phygital rewards”, competitions and redeemables. The team plans to offer a signed, unpublished hand-drawn still of Mr Bean from the first animated series as part of the rewards.

Collectors can brace for Mr Bean NFT drops with FOMO Lab planned throughout 2022.

Mr Bean co-creator and actor Rowan Atkinson said it was a great idea to launch an NFT collection based on the famous character. “Any initiative which not only draws attention to but actually enables access to the fabulous artwork associated with the Mr Bean Animation series, I welcome with open arms.”

On the other hand, Owain Walbyoff, Chief Commercial Officer, Banijay commented: “Banijay has many exciting Metaverse projects to announce this year, as we continue to adopt new technologies to futureproof our brands.”

Walbyoff added that given the series’ popularity, the NFT project will deliver value for money to collectors in the long term because it combines digital and physical rewards.

FOMO Labs has been adding celebrity influence to its portfolio of partners. The company recently partnered with road racing cyclist Mark Cavendish, entrepreneur Roland Berger, and heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Its collaboration with Tyson Fury has already set a new record for the most expensive boxing NFT ever sold, selling 1-of-1 NFT for $987,000.
