PATRÓN Tequila is making its first foray into the metaverse with “Summer Made Sensational: A PATRÓN Pop-Up Series.” Located in Decentraland, the virtual experience will take tequila enthusiasts on a cocktail-themed journey.
The tequila brand’s entry into the metaverse follows its initial venture into Web3 through its first-ever NFT, PATRÓN Chairman’s Reserve, which was launched in January. PATRÓN’s pop-up series on Decentraland is a bar takeover experience inspired by the brand’s cocktails, such as the PATRÓN Perfect Paloma, PATRÓN Silver & Soda, and PATRÓN Añejo Highball.
When entering the experience, visitors will automatically arrive at the first cocktail-inspired location and be greeted by a PATRÓN host. A PATRÓN bartender will then prompt visitors to source different ingredients to make a cocktail at all three locations – Jazz Club, Flamingos and Metaverse Festival.
US residents aged 21 and older will help bartenders in each location find the essential ingredients needed for making each drink in three cocktail-themed quests. They will also have the opportunity to explore limited-time pop-ups and unlock exclusive PATRÓN NFT wearables including a gold jacket.
Those who successfully complete all three quests will stand a chance to win the grand prize—a trip to Punta Mita, Mexico, as well as a rare wearable within the PATRÓN metaverse.
The PATRÓN grand prize will include travel for two people from the United States to Punta Mita, Mexico, 4-night accommodation in a luxe three-bedroom condo for two people in Punta Mita, three meals provided a day (alcohol is not included), unlimited golf and golf cart usage at Punta Mita Golf Courses during the stay, and use of Punta Mita Ocean Sports aquatic equipment.
US-based Decentraland users can participate in the quests through www.patrontequilaverse.com on 12-14 AUg and/or 19-21 Aug from Friday 5pm EST to Monday 4am EST. A grand prize will be awarded each weekend.
