Lost Worlds, the NFT platform focused on integrating NFTs with real-world locations has launched a new portal for creating geoNFTs. Lost Worlds offers a multi-chain NFT creation and minting platform that allows users to create and deploy geographically-linked digital collectibles (geoNFTs).
The platform is now launching a new portal that makes the process easier and more autonomous.
Previously, creating and deploying geoNFTs required direct coordination with the Lost Worlds team, the company said in a statement on Thursday. “The Creation Portal changes this, opening the doors to anyone – from individual enthusiasts to large-scale projects – interested in crafting and exploring geoNFTs across any supported blockchain.”
According to Lost Worlds, the new portal aligns with its vision of integrating nonfungible tokens with real-world locations.
Built in collaboration with Ava Labs, Lost World wants to create meaningful connections between digital assets and physical experiences. The new portal allows users to create and mint their own geoNFTs without the need for a mobile app.
“This user-friendly approach ensures that anyone, anywhere, can participate in the Lost Worlds ecosystem without having to contend with technical barriers,” says Lost Worlds.
The company plans to add new features and NFT creation tools as part of its expansion of user experiences, including adding more location types and increased token automation for airdrops, teleportation, bounties and GameFi check-ins.
Ultimately, Lost Worlds says it wants to build a Pokemon Go-esque experience for the NFT community, as it seeks to usher in a new era for NFTs by blending the excitement of location-based gaming with the fast-evolving Web3 world.
The company says its platform is attracting companies from different industries including museums, theme parks, retail stores and restaurants that seek to boost customer engagement, loyalty and revenues.
