Quick take:
- The multi-year partnership will see the two companies collaborate in building Telegram’s Web3 SuperApp.
- Mirana Ventures will receive exclusive access to Telegram’s advertising platform.
- Bybit, Mirana Ventures’ partner will also join up to provide liquidity to TON Space users.
TON Foundation has announced an $8 million investment from Mirana Ventures. The Web3 venture capital firm has entered into a long-term partnership as part of the deal. Mirana Ventures completed the acquisition of its new stake in TON through a public purchase of Toncoin.
According to the announcement, the two companies will collaborate to build Telegram’s Web3 SuperApp. On the other hand, Mirana Ventures will receive exclusive access to Telegram’s advertising, allowing its partners like Bybit and Mantle Network to leverage tailored advertising strategies.
This partnership is part of TON’s vision of forming a blockchain of blockchains as it expands its Web3 ecosystem. Bybit will also join up to provide liquidity to TON Space users. TON Space is a Web3 wallet that TON runs on Telegram.
“This move represents a considerable improvement in transaction efficiency and price optimization. RFQ, a trading mechanism that allows buyers to request price quotes for specific asset quantities among various suppliers, creates a more personalized trading experience and ensures that even large trades can be completed without negatively impacting market prices,” TON wrote in a blog post on its website.
According to TON, the RFQ (request-for-quote) technology will also improve the security and stability of the TON Ecosystem by reducing slippage and the risk of market manipulation.
TON Foundation believes the partnership will also help its efforts of accelerating the adoption of blockchain technology with an easily accessible and user-friendly Telegram Web3 SuperApp.
