BlockGames is on a mission to address the challenge of enhancing user privacy on gaming platforms while making it easier for games to onboard new players. The company has introduced a concept dubbed Universal Player Profiles, which it says empowers players while making it easier for games to onboard users to their platforms.
According to the announcement, the platform has already surpassed 800k “Universal Player Profiles” of active players through its signature application “Rewarded Play”, and partnered with over 200 mobile games from leading publishers.
BlockGames said its mission is to build a profile attribution platform that allows gamers to be more than participants in gaming projects, giving them an opportunity to become stakeholders.
“By establishing an expansive Player Network connected to its protocol, BlockGames aims to redefine the relationship between players and applications. This ecosystem ensures that players are not only rewarded for their contributions but also actively engaged in shaping the future of gaming,” BlockGames wrote in a blog post on Medium.
With the Universal Player Profiles, players are able to showcase their gaming progress, on-chain activity, and social reputation under one profile. “This innovative approach fosters a symbiotic relationship between games and players, where players are rewarded for their engagement while providing valuable data insights to game developers,” the company wrote.
