NFT marketplace, Rarible, today announced that it has integrated with Immutable X, a Layer-2 rapid-scaling solution on Ethereum, to bring gaming NFTs to the platform.
Blockchain gamers and NFT collectors can now buy and sell high-quality gaming NFTs on Rarible from popular games and projects built on Immutable X, including Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians, Illuvium, Ember Sword, and more.
To celebrate the integration, Immutable X offered double $IMX Trading Rewards eligibility (up to 100,000 $IMX daily) for users who buy and sell NFTs on Rarible at 8pm ET.
Blockchain gaming plays a key role in the mainstream adoption of Web3 and has remained resilient despite the sharp downturn of the market. Over the past few months, Web3 gaming studios and platforms have been raising and launching dedicated venture funds to build Web3 games. These include Magic Eden, UnCaged Studios, Nerdystar, Konvoy Ventures, and Limit Break, amongst many others.
With the integration, Gaming NFT projects can leverage Immutable X’s low-cost and carbon-neutral economy to launch on Rarible. Crypto newcomers can also have the opportunity to buy and sell NFTs from their favourite collections with low transaction fees and high transaction speeds.

Rarible has been ramping up its multi-chain expansion over the past few months, having integrated Polygon in March and Solana in April. It also supports Ethereum, Tezos and Flow.
