Boss Beauties will be the first NFT project to be displayed at the UN. To celebrate the monumental occasion, Boss Beauties have invited speakers from well-known brands and companies, as well as influencers, who will be revealed over the next few weeks.
The event will be live-streamed, and will include a full exhibition of the Boss Beauty Role Models NFT collection along with a full day of keynotes and panel discussions.
The UN event is a result of a partnership with global impact consultancy 5th Element Group. The consultancy works directly with the UN to connect the public, private, and nonprofit sectors together to achieve the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
“The unveiling of Boss Beauty Role Models at the United Nations is a historical moment that we are incredibly proud of,” said Lisa Mayer, Founder and CEO of Boss Beauties. “Having a collection with such a strong and inspiring message be the first NFT art collection to display at the United Nations is truly monumental. Most importantly, it resembles our larger mission to empower Women and Girls at the forefront of technology, leadership and creativity.”
The limited edition 1/1 Boss Beauty Role Models collection will be up for auction on Mar 7, ahead of the UN event. Proceeds will go to Boss Beauties Scholarship Fund for Women and Girls through their non-profit My Social Canvas.
Since launching in September last year, Boss Beauties have been landing high-profile collaborations. The project has announced collaborations with Marvel and recently, Rolling Stone. It was also the first NFT project to be displayed at the New York Stock Exchange.
Reese Witherspoon, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington are among some of the celebrities who own pieces from the original Boss Beauties NFT collection, which currently has a floor price of 2.35 ETH.
