Crypto-enabled gambling platform Monkey Tilt has emerged from stealth with a $21 million funding round from Polychain Capital, Hack VC, Poker Go, Accomplice, Paper Ventures, and Folius Ventures among others.
The company also announced the launch of its Fantasy gaming platform MTFantasy, in over 20 US states. The platform blends cryptocurrencies with gaming, allowing players to earn real money by predicting whether selected players will surpass or fall short of their statistical predictions.
Monkey Tilt is launching in beta after spending several months in stealth mode. The company is led by co-founder Sun Wukong a crypto degen, who boasts “experience in regulated online gaming,” while Soko is lead developer.
“Our advisors have built some of the largest publicly traded gaming companies, have engineered 10-figure exits and are playing a big part in helping us structure the team – currently at 62,” Monkey Tilt said in an announcement on X.
The company will now embark on releasing new products “never seen before in gaming”, and is inviting early adopters to join for a chance to receive rewards that will make them feel like a partner of the organisation.
Monkey Tilt said it is now a licensed and regulated daily fantasy sports platform in over 20 US states and is available for download in the App Store and Google Play.
