- The platform will also offer the Football at AlphaVerse token (FAV), which will be minted on the Chiliz Chain.
Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI) Corp has announced a partnership with Chiliz to accelerate the development of AlphaVerse, an interactive 3D virtual world offering football-related experiences.
The platform will include an immersive AI-powered 3D interactive entertainment platform dedicated to football and called Football at AlphaVerse (FAV). According to the announcement on August 21, FAV will be powered by the $FAV token, which will be minted on Chiliz Chain.
The two companies will use FAV to bring utility to Socios.com, Chiliz’s fan token platform through football-themed experiences, games and digital assets in the immersive 3D world.
Commenting on the partnership, Frédéric Chesnais, Founder and CEO of CBI / AlphaVerse said: “Partnering with Chiliz Labs and integrating Chiliz Chain in the AlphaVerse are logical steps for us given the footprint of Chiliz on the blockchain in general, and in the world of football in particular.
Although the Chiliz fan token platform supports different types of sports, its collaboration with CBI will only focus on Football, leveraging the official licenses granted by football clubs. The AlphaVerse platform has already signed up its first partners for the AI-powered metaverse world, with the likes of Real Betis in Spain, Brazil-based São Paulo FC, and Norwich City FC and Cardiff City FC of the English Championship now making part of the FAV ecosystem.
The FAV ecosystem will be supported by the $FAV utility token, which has a maximum supply of 11 billion units. The units will be made available gradually to the users.

Chiliz has been one of the biggest players in the fan token industry. Last year, the company invested over €100 million for a 24.5% stake in Barcelona’s audiovisual studio.
Football fan tokens are used to establish deeper relationships between football clubs, stars and their fans, through mini-games, and offering access to exclusive merchandise and events, among others.
Football clubs Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Juventus, S.S.C Napoli, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Arsenal, Atlético Madrid, A.S. Roma and major F1 teams have all launched fan tokens on the Socios.com platform.
