NFT domain name provider, Unstoppable Domains, today announced the launch of Profile Badges, verified by on-chain activity. The Profile Badges allow users to build their digital identity by showcasing which NFTs they hold on their Web3 domain.
The first drop of Profile Badges include “Early Adopter” for those who transacted on the Ethereum mainnet before 2017, and badges for NFT collectors who hold CryptoPunks, CryptoKitties, Lazy Lions, Doodles, World of Women, Crypto Chicks, Deadheads, Alpha Girl Club, and more.
“With Profile Badges, wallet transactions become your Web3 achievements and bring to life your on-chain transactions,” said Lisa Seacat DeLuca, Director of Product Management and Engineering at Unstoppable Domains. “In the future, Profile Badges will evolve to reflect the crypto community as a whole. Today, you can show which projects you ‘aped into’ early, and someday, we envision Web3 profiles will showcase on-chain activity and achievements for our social and professional lives.”
As social signal shifts from physical to digital in the Web3 era, Unstoppable’s Profile Badges provides users new ways to showcase their community affiliations and milestones. All existing Unstoppable Domains users can now display Badges on their profile, choose to opt out, or decide which badges to make public or private.
Users can apply the badges for free by simply syncing their Web3 wallet and selecting a badge. There’s also a badge for people who used Rarible to mint their first NFT.

At the same time, Access Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) have partnered with Unstoppable Domains to provide free Web3 domains to all women residing in the UAE capital.
The giveaway aims to provide opportunities for more women to learn about and ultimately participate in Web3.
