The Palm Collective, a Web3 community dedicated to connecting artists, designers and their fans has launched the Obscura Community, an initiative designed to celebrate artists of all genders during Womxn’s Month.

The Womxn’s Month is a month-long event organised by the Womxn’s Center for Success annually in March to remind everyone of the achievements of womxn throughout the years.

To celebrate the event, Womxn has collaborated with The Palm Collective to offer artists an exclusive opportunity to participate in its “Call x Digital Art: Egalitarian Utopia” initiative.

According to the announcement, the community aims to use medium art to demonstrate its unique visions of an egalitarian utopia and help shape a more inclusive and harmonious society.

The initiative will reward artists who receive the most votes with a $1,000 prize, while their artwork will also be displayed in a window display on Broadway Avenue in New York on April 1.

The Collective has organised a committee comprised of Empress Trash (@Empresstrash) Dawnia AKA (@letsglitchit) ObscuraDAO (@ObscuraDAO) and UnknownCollector (@unknowncollector) to curate 15 to 20 artists, who will be invited to submit their work for an immersive wall to ceiling display at Lume Studios NYC during this year’s Palm Collective NFTNYC event.

Those who emerge as runners-up will be offered Palm Collective Proofs, which are tokens usually earned by interacting with the Palm Collective ecosystem.

To be eligible for the contest, participants must create and connect their crypto wallets with a Palm ID, then mint their art as an NFT on the Palm network before submitting it on the Egalitarian page on the Plam DAO website. All submissions must be done before the deadline of March 22.

The contest only accepts original work, not minted anywhere else. Artists are allowed one submission, which must be minted on Palm Network.
