RepubliK has announced a collaboration with Fireblocks to integrate the institutional-grade wallet. The Web3 social media platform wants to tap into Fireblocks’ strong security features to improve the security of interactions and transactions for users.

Republik combines the simplicity of traditional social media with advanced features of Web3 technology and a gamified engagement system to encourage active user participation. Users are empowered with monetisation options including in-app NFT minting and a community-driven governance system.

Although many companies have integrated with Fireblocks, RepubliK said it is the first social media platform on the list, joining the likes of leading multinational organisations including The Bank of Italy, ANZ, BNY Mellon, and ABN Ambro among others.

According to the announcement, the collaboration with Fireblocks is part of a broader mission to revolutionise social media. “We are reshaping the landscape for creators and communities, ensuring that their digital interactions and transactions are secure, seamless, and empowering,” RepubliK wrote in a press material shared with NFTgators on Wednesday.

According to Fireblocks’ website, the company’s MPC-CMP technology enables digital asset transactions to be signed within just 1 one round, making the process 800 times faster than regular MPC algorithms. RepubliK sees its integration with Fireblocks HQ’s sophisticated technology as a crucial step for web2 users transitioning to Web3.
