Quick take:

  • The platform allows traditional investors to invest in crypto and receive staking rewards through financial products they know.
  • Web3 platforms including crypto exchanges and wallets can use Restake to activate staking through their platforms.
  • Users can earn yield by staking Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), Avalanche (AVAX), Sui (SUI), Near (NEAR) and MultiverseX (EGLD)  on the platform.

Restake, an institutional architect for blockchain ecosystems on a mission to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology at the institutional level has joined Syntropy’s private testnet.

Announcing via a post on X on Monday, Restake wrote: “Syntropy Private Testnet is emblematic of a broader mission to create a reliable and scalable Data Layer that meets both long-term visions and user expectations.”

Syntropy describes its blockchain layer as “an on-chain streaming oracle, providing a decentralized and scalable way to access, retrieve, and interact with real-time blockchain data.”

On the other hand, Restake describes its platform as an institutional architect that enables effortless staking with institutional standards. Scalability is one of the main fundamental requirements for the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology at the institutional level.

And according to Restake, Syntropy’s private testnet is built for that. “The Private Testnet serves as an environment that seeks to mirror real-world operations, providing valuable data points for optimizing stability,” the crypto-staking platform wrote.

“With blockchain upgradability now a feature, a system can seamlessly coordinate between validators to push updates without halting the chain, thereby ensuring continuous innovation without disruptions.”

This announcement comes at a time when more institutions are pushing for the tokenisation of real-world assets.

More recently, BlackRock, which spearheaded the campaign for the SEC approval of the first Spot Bitcoin ETFs launched its first tokenised fund on Ethereum, accelerating the tokenisation of real-world assets. The BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, recently said that tokenization will be “the next generation for markets.”

Restake currently allows users to earn yield by staking Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), Avalanche (AVAX), Sui (SUI), Near (NEAR) and MultiverseX (EGLD) on its platform.

The platform allows traditional investors to invest in crypto and receive staking rewards through financial products they know. Web3 platforms including crypto exchanges and wallets can also use Restake to activate staking through their platforms.
