Vibe has announced a $4 million seed round backed by Alchemy, Algae Ventures and K-Pop Psy’s music label, P Nation, among others. The no-code NFT platform enables creatives Alchemy, Algae Ventures and K-Pop Psy’s music label, P Nation, among others.
The company’s leadership team includes alumni from leading web3 protocols including Sushiswap, Binance, Github, and Coinbase, among others.
Vibe is taking a different approach to NFTs. While most companies focus on turning products into non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Vibe’s NFT-to-Product platform allows users to turn static NFTs into evolving assets with real-world and digital utility.
Developers can use the platform to build upgradable mechanics like plugins, allowing them to embed features like loyalty points and physical redeemable ticketing, among others.
Commenting on the announcement, Rachel Chu, Founder and CEO of Vibe said: “Real value for NFTs will come from the dynamism and programmability where creators can add unique features to their collections, until now they haven’t had a comprehensive tool to curate and customize their collections. Our goal is to simplify this entire process and we are confident in our mission – taking NFTs from pictures to products.”
Vibe’s platform is created with full multi and cross-chain interoperability in mind, allowing any Vibe NFTs to be deployed on any chain, and bridged to any other chain.
Vibe says its user-friendly platform has already captured the attention of the NFT community and will be unveiling a number of celebrity collaborations in the coming weeks.
The company’s Genesis NFT drop Vibe: Season 1 is scheduled to debut on May 8-11, 2023. The allowlist opened on May 4 and will run up until the day of the NFT drop. Users can join the allowlist by connecting their wallets, registering with an email address and following Vibe on Twitter.
