Quick take:

  • The partnership will enable developers and designers to create their own dynamic NFTs.
  • Revise will leverage its NFT infrastructure to provide the required APIs and software developer kits (SDKs) for integration.
  • Dynamic NFTs are tied to real-world activities and gain value depending on how the underlying asset performs in real life.

Tezos India has partnered with the Connecticut-based non-fungible token (NFT) infrastructure platform Revise to onboard Indian developers and creators onto web3.

Revise’s infrastructure enables developers to link NFTs with web two applications and data, thus transforming them from static JPEGs to interactive assets. The platform will offer developers and designers a software developer kit (SDK) for dynamic NFTs.

The company said people could even create their own metaverse worlds after this collaboration.

Tezos’ India subsidiary was launched to help onboard the country’s huge developer community to the blockchain. The unit is also targeting local startups, organisations and corporations as part of its campaign in the Asian nation.

With this partnership, the two companies are specifically targeting India’s huge film and entertainment industry as well as musical artists. Revise thinks the collaboration could create an exciting avenue for the ticketing industry to embrace blockchain technologies.

Users will be able to link their NFTs to real-world data enabling them to unlock new experiences whilst also allowing developers to adjust the programming of the NFT as they see fit.

For instance with a dynamic NFT, a customer’s ticket updates automatically after paying for an event, adding points to the customer account. The points can be redeemed for free meals, merchandise or for gaining early access to an artist’s unreleased album.

Commenting on the partnership, Raunaq Vaisoha, Co-Founder of Revise, said: “We’re excited to bring a highly requested integration to our users, who can now build programmable NFTs with Tezos. Our users include game developers, sports collections, and various NFT projects where speed makes a difference. Using Tezos with Revise, they’re sure to have the fastest possible end-user experience, making web3 more accessible and fun.”

On the other hand, Amanjot Malhotra, Head of Growth at Tezos India, commented, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Revise. The potential for dynamic NFTs is enormous, and they have various use cases. This integration is quite beneficial in the long run because many NFT-based projects are being developed on the Tezos blockchain, and they can directly use the resources.”

In April 2022, Revise raised $3.5 million in a seed round led by 8i Ventures with participation from six other investors, according to CrunchBase.
