Leading massively multiplayer online strategy game Heroes of Mavia is zeroing in on game economy health as it prepares to become one of the biggest play-to-earn (P2E) games focusing on eSports and competitive gaming.

Mavia has officially joined Machinations’ Game Economy Health Monitoring Service to build a sustainable and healthy in-game economy to ramp up stakeholder benefits. Mavia is developed by blockchain games developer Skrice Studios and backed by the likes of Crypto.com Capital and Binance.

Machinations is the world’s largest community of game design professionals. Its “Verified by Machinations” seal carries a lot of weight in the gaming industry, which also now covers Web3 games.

The company’s Web3 game economy and tokenomics design testing tool is widely used to pre-launch and after launch allowing developers to continuously re-forecast their game’s long-term economic health.

Mavia is currently using the tool to perform large-scale simulations for different scenarios and testing for inflation and deflation events. Once it meets all the requirements set by the leading game economy health monitoring platform, it will receive a “Verified by Machinations” seal.

After that, Mavia plans to maintain its relationship with Machinations, monitoring its game economy health based on live telemetry and Web 3.0 market data.

Commenting on Mavia’s ongoing testing process, Mihai Gheza, co-founder and CEO of Machinations said “ever since the team at Mavia started using Machinations, we’ve been impressed with their commitment to delivering a perfectly balanced game economy to their fantastic community.”

Gheza expressed his excitement for having Skrice Studios use Machinations’ Game Economy Health Monitoring process as they continue to develop and maintain a healthy game economy for Heroes of Mavia.

On the other hand, Tristan Chaudhry, Managing Director of Skrice Studios said his company is determined to continuously work on improving the player experience by offering the best graphics and building a sustainable game economy.

“We are pushing the boundaries of what it means to make a AAA quality blockchain game [and that’s why] we are partnering with Machinations to validate Mavia’s economic health and obtain the Verified by Machinations seal,” he said.

A healthy in-game economy is crucial to maintaining a loyal community in the age of blockchain gaming whilst also generating sustainable income for the decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO).

Mavia is looking to maintain a balance between the two variables by ensuring it continuously meets Machinations’ standards for game economy health.
