American billionaire entrepreneur and NFT enthusiast Mark Cuban has been confirmed as the headliner of the inaugural Miami NFT Week from 1-3 April. The event will kick off Miami Tech Month.
Miami NFT Week is fueled by Miami Mayor Francis Suarez’s popularity among venture capitalists, startups and tech companies. The event will bring together NFT creators, developers, and crypto communities in real life to participate in panel discussions, workshops, and networking events.
Headlining Miami NFT Week was a no brainer for Mark Cuban who has invested in a number of crypto and Blockchain-focused companies. The owner of Dallas Mavericks now issues NFTs of player’s profile pictures to fans who attend the games.
In addition to being a keynote speaker, Cuban will also have a fireside chat with the CEO of Scoutible, the game-based hiring platform that he’s the lead investor in.
The three-day event will be packed with more than 60 speakers and 20 talks from thought leaders from the NFT industry. The panelists will be bridging conversations about DeFi and Blockchain technology. The event’s agenda includes topics on the government’s influence on NFTs, future interoperability, NFT multiverse, gaming and how to market and launch NFT projects, among others.
There will also be pitch competitions, hackathons, and creative installations that include NFT and immersive art as well as receptions, NFT parties, and performing artists.
Miami NFT Week will be the first event in the lineup of a month-long calendar. Held in the heart of Wynwood, Miami’s art and culture district, Miami NFT Week and Miami Tech Month are both happening for the first time.
More than 3000 attendees are expected at Miami NFT Week, which aims to create the largest gathering of NFT enthusiasts in the US.
