FaZe Clan Jumps on the Metaverse Train with The Sandbox

FaZe Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: FAZE)  the parent company of FaZe Clan has announced its arrival in the metaverse. The company has teamed up with The Sandbox to launch a virtual hub called “FaZe World”. 

FaZe Clan is a lifestyle and media platform focusing on gaming and media culture. The company has bought a 12X12 digital plot of land in The Sandbox to develop the “FaZe World” a virtual hub encompassing the lifestyle and culture of FaZe Clan.

According to the announcement, the two companies will collaborate to produce virtual experiences for the FaZe community in The Sandbox metaverse by building digital infrastructure, virtual events, games, and digital product releases.

The partnership will also enable the creation of gamified FaZe World for the community allowing FaZe fans to explore new revenue opportunities.

The partnership also allows the public to invest in the digital land surrounding FaZe World, thus giving FaZe fans an opportunity to explore their neighbourhood comprised of leading corporations and gaming companies. 

The Sandbox will hold a LAND sale later this year to mark the occasion with immersive experiences coming to FaZe world in 2023.

FaZe Clan’s business is comprised of some of the largest gaming and lifestyle organisations. The platform is predominantly known for its massive portfolio of eSports teams. 

It is joining more than 400 partnerships on The Sandbox, including Warner Music Group, Ubisoft, The Rabbids, Tony Hawk, Gucci Vault, The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Richie Hawtin, The Smurfs, Care Bears, Atari, ZEPETO, and CryptoKitties, among others.
