Collider Ventures, Fireblocks and MarketAcross have teamed up to launch the Building Blocks Event in Tel Aviv. The three Israeli companies will coordinate to host a series of workshops, panel discussions and informal events in a full-day event to be held on February 7.

Building Blocks 23 is part of ETH Tel Aviv, an event that brings together Ethereum developers and communities. The workshops will cover a variety of web3 topics including mastering leading protocols and how to stay on course during market turbulence.

Participants will also learn how to build on web3, how to fundraise for a blockchain project, find the right product for the market, secure their projects on the blockchain, team building and grow their communities, among others.

There will also be practical workshops that will give participants hands-on experience in treasury management, developing sustainable tokenomic frameworks, and effective marketing and branding.

“Israel has always been a builders’ hub,” said Itai Elizur, COO of MarketAcross. “Innovation is part of our DNA. Naturally, the narrative has shifted from Israel being a startup nation to a web3 nation. Tel Aviv is an ideal host as it continues to be a tech engine for a top-notch community of developers.”

The event is held in conjunction with StarkWare, the Israeli software company that specialises in cryptography. The company will help the three co-hosts to guide participants in the art of building a successful web3 business.

“On the global stage, Tel Aviv plays an out-sized role in innovative startups with proven track records,” said Idan Ofrat, Co-founder and CTO at Fireblocks. “With the emergence of web3, we are excited to co-host Building Blocks 23 and to support the city’s forward-thinking startup culture, bringing together the best collective experiences and insights that the country has to offer.”

The event is primarily looking to equip aspiring web3 builders with foundational skills in web3 entrepreneurship. Founders and builders will also be afforded time to share personal knowledge and experience of the industry’s ups and downs via panel discussions.

Eylon Aviv, Principal at Collider, said: “We’re excited to finally be hosting a global web3 conference in Tel Aviv. Our partners from abroad have been asking us for years when we’ll be bringing an event to the city, and we’re thrilled to be able to make it happen. We can’t wait to bring together experts from around the world to share their knowledge and insights with the vibrant and dynamic blockchain community in Tel Aviv.”

Blockchain sceptic and Ethereum expert Udi Wertheimer has already confirmed his participation in the event as a guest speaker. He will be joined by SSV Network CEO Alon Muroch, with representatives from The Graph, Safe, Avalanche, AAVE and Solidus Labs also joining.
