Bybit also launched a campaign featuring exclusive NFTs from Monster Galaxy, as well as artwork curated by ONBD and REALY Apparel. The platform said its NFT marketplace is enabled with multi-chain transactions, allowing everyone to participate in all aspects of the crypto market.

The platform will allow users to transact NFTs without adding external wallets, as it leverages Ethereum’s ERC-721 ecosystem through Bybit spot accounts.

Speaking following the launch of the NFT marketplace, Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO of Bybit highlighted the importance of the industry in helping artists and creators to gain control over the ownership of their work, adding that NFTs are the gateway to a digital world where everyone can participate.

“We are excited to provide a premier NFT platform for Bybit users, so they can be part of the creation of a new marketplace and new world called the metaverse,” Zhou said.

Monster Galaxy is a role-playing mobile game developed by Gaia online, based on the popular Pokémon and Monster Hunter video games.

Monster Galaxy has attracted more than 25 million gamers across the world, joining in the exciting community of epic monster battles.

Bybit’s NFT marketplace has plans to expand its portfolio beyond the three projects that kick start its launch. The platform will be tapping on the world of celebrities, athletes and upcoming artists to expand its offerings.

Executives from the featured NFT projects had positive remarks about the partnership, with James Cao, founder and CEO of Monster Galaxy highlighting the gaming platform’s desire to onboard its massive mobile gaming community into the Web 3.0 ecosystem.

“Bybit’s NFT Marketplace is focused on creating a seamless user experience for new users of crypto, backed by their robust infrastructure and deep exchange liquidity which make them the ideal partners for our maiden NFT collection drop,” Cao said.
