Brave Sponsors 3XP Esports Arena for the June Web3 Gaming Expo in Pasadena

Brave has announced a partnership with 3XP Web3 Gaming Expo. The privacy-focused web browser will sponsor the 3XP Esports Arena for the June 8-9 tournament in Pasadena California.

The exhibition will feature the $BAT token, the utility token of the Basic Attention Token platform, which rewards users for the attention they pay to adverts while offering advertisers a better return for their ad spend.

The Brave-powered experience will be used to reward tournament winners at the 3XP Web3 Gaming Expo. The platform will leverage Community Gaming’s gasless payments infrastructure to facilitate player payouts and tournament matches.

According to the announcement, the 11,000 sq ft Arena will feature a 5v5 PC gaming setup on stage, giant LED screens, an audience area, and shoutcaster talent to provide commentary on all the competitive action in the setup.

Those attending will be given an opportunity to trial some of the emerging web3 games including Neon’s Shrapnel, Horizon Blockchain Games’ Skyweaver, Jam City’s inaugural web3 game Champions: Ascension, Midnight Society’s Deadrop, Wildcard, BR1, Mojo Melee, EV, Undead Blocks, MagicCraft, Parallel, Sparkball, Spider Tanks, and more

Exhibition matches will also be streamed live on the Twitch front page, with Twitch content creators such as Yassuo and Team Liquid also participating in some featured games. Top web3 content creators including Brycent, SpikeReacts, Classy Crypto, CryptoStache, Alliestrasza, XBorg pro players will also be competing in some games.
